Avengers: Endgame trailer dropped today! I know i never talked about my love for marvel on this blog, but I love Marvel (for reference, I'm wearing Groot socks from a Marvel socks advent calendar today 😃). Anyways, back to the point. The trailer! It looks so promising. Go watch it! Endgame trailer link. I'm going to break it down and talk about any predictions, et cetera.
The trailer begins with Iron Man (still stranded in space) sending a transmission to Pepper. He ends with "Oxygen's going to run out tomorrow morning. That's going to be it. When I drift off, I'll dream of you" which cements the idea he's going to die 😟 (pretty much). Then the logo for Marvel- then Black Widow talking about how Thanos achieved his mission (talking to Cap). He then makes an emotional statement saying "We lost, all of us (cut to Thor and Nebula- seperately. They lost family- Loki and Gamora). We lost friends, we lost family, we lost a part of ourselves. This is the fight of our lives". During this part, it cuts to some unknown character sword-training Hawkeye during "We lost family" which makes me think part of Hawkeye's family dusted as a result of the snap, strengthening his resolve. During "This is the fight of our lives", Cap opens a locket and looks at a picture of Peggy Carter. It then shows the title "Avengers: Endgame" and then cuts to a video transmission of Ant Man asking if they can "buzz him in" to the Avengers facility (where they are). Cap asks "Is this an old message?" and Black Widow responds "He's at the front door", which makes me think somehow he escapes the Quantum Realm -again. You'll know what I'm talking about if you've scene the post credits scene for Antman and the Wasp. anyways, to include it in the first trailer it must be important...
